Unfortunately the dopes who make these decisions here are not even working on making smaller size leagues available. I just got this back from an inquiry I made.

Hello SavoyGB,

Although there are future plans for different scheduling formats, as of right now they are not in active development. There should be some bigger news we are hoping to share in the coming weeks, and with that will likely be sharing the development timeline for features across games.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. If we can get 30, 40, 50 customers to all join this thread and demand options for smaller leagues they will have to do it. It's certainly not gonna happen if we stop complaining.

Classic Under 40-D League (51-52 to 99-00) #73813

There are 11 teams entered and yes there are several players that I see on multiple teams but it's not overwhelming and some
of the duplicated players are having different seasons being used. All the teams so far have their own identity.

Midge had a great idea and tried doing a Banned 50/50 League where once we finished the $52 Million draft he banned the 1st 50 players and lowered the Cap to $50 million. We ran one season of it and I thought it was fantastic, I even liked it better than the $52. But we couldn't get enough people interested in it the 2nd time around so it just died.

Would much rather have era normalization than smaller leagues. Not even close. And I really, really want smaller leagues. But keeping such a huge part of the history of the NBA out of the SIM is really a shame.

No NBA player is gonna be fatigued for the next game because he played 12 minutes one night.
