First team I had landed on in my (thus far) limited research. I guess there was no way they'd fall to me.

I will try my best to keep things moving along but have had company for the last week, and will have a full house all day tomorrow. I'm going to try to make this pick late tonight or tomorrow morning (CA time). Sorry for the delay.

Yep, that 1993 Braves team was definitely on my short list. But I had a backup Braves team ready to go. He's no Ed Walsh, but Cy Young should do ok in this league.

As you know, the Braves franchise has had a number of different nicknames during it's history... Boston Reds (1876), Boston Nationals (1901-06), Boston Doves (1907-10) and the Boston Bees (1936-40). What I never realized is that according to baseball-reference, this Boston team did not have a nickname in 1911 (or in the years 1877-1900).

Since I'm not involved with the Top 16, if any of you guys want to send me a proxy choice/list, I'll be on here most of the afternoon.

With four picks in this Top 16, at least this is giving PEDRO some extra time to do some research.

My Pirates team ended the regular season on a 2-7 run, which was just bad enough to drop enough spots to ensure that I won't get one of the teams I want.
