Well I thought we were gaining some momentum but looks like we’re gonna have to get a clock going. I’ll set that up in the next day or so. Probably one round per day.

It is too bad because it gets stuck at the same location each time. It is going to make your Job tougher having to put in ALL of THOSE TIME SLOTS, that takes a lot of time for you Husker

People who can’t be on frequently should send proxies out. Several of us will happily take them (schwarze, me. Calhoop, NebHusker, jtpsops for sure and no doubt others). Anyone who has already drafted in a round is a perfect candidate to take proxies.

If everyone could just take stock of their availability and take advantage of proxies, we’d move much faster.

r1 delay at this location was 10 min.

dito Proxies is the answer Husker I am sure u were planning on people sending out proxies if they are not available to make picks in a somewhat timely fashion. This is a really fun theme/draft to do but it does take some fun out of it if you have to check all day long so that it isn't yourself that holds up the draft

I've run hundreds of drafts. What I've found to be true is that when there is a clock and there is a risk at getting skipped, people will make an effort to submit a proxy if they know that can't be online when their pick is due. When there is no clock, many people do not make this same effort.

During an untimed draft, the last thing I do before going to sleep is to see how far away my pick is. If it's close, I will leave a proxy. The first thing I do when I wake up is to see if I'm due up or how close I am from my turn. If it's close and I can't be online, I will leave a proxy. It takes less than 10 minutes. This isn't rocket science.

yes so far he has picked ahead of his scheduled pick and was long overdue for his next two picks. Just send a proxy to someone

Pat Neshek.

The 2 picks before me went at 5a and after 9a...but don't worry, it won't happen again.

Ironically, I had sent two people my proxy but I wound up being on before either of them saw I was up. So it’s not a perfect solution especially overnight.
