I appreciated him still being there. I figured I was getting a reliever this round so why not get the best one.

I really thought hard about taking him. He's absolutely killing it for me in a $116M league currently.

Yeah me too. Maybe we should post when we are available to make our picks. I hate making people wait so I am checking all the time so I don't hold the next group up. I will be checking until 3pm CDT today then I will have to leave proxies

By the way, I live in the Pacific time zone so the 5 hours that lapsed betore my pick were 4 am to 9 am.

We all have different levels of participation in what is supposed to be fun enjoyment. Life events are more important so I think I know how to alleviate feeling pressure from 23 middle aged baseball nerds.

I see this as a learning opportunity.
Jose Ramirez was picked at 907PM west coast time, which meant you were only 4 picks away. This is a perfect example to demonstrate how a proxy pick really helps things along. A 2 or 3 name proxy shouldn't be too hard to put together especially since there are many Cleveland SP's with an ERC between 2.50 and 2.75 (Sam McDowell 2.53). Taking 2 or 3 of them into a proxy list and sending to a few people would allow you to be done with it and not have to worry or feel pressure at least for another 12 - 24 hours.

I hope everyone is having as much as I am. This draft format is so interesting.
