The 2005 or 1988 Mets would both be great choices for this last pick. Instead, I’ve spent a day talking myself into trying a longshot - the 1973 Mets.

A bit surprised no one took a chance on 1990. Blyleven, Harvey and Eichhorn, plus Winfield and a ton of switch hitters.

'89 doesn't have Winfield or Eichhorn. I'm guessing you meant 1990.

I was a little surprised nobody tried the 73 Mets with Willie Mays, Plus ya get Tom Seaver and his lefty sidekicks Kooz and Matlack. Could be a contender.
