Every player on your roster must have at least an A-/A- rating for fielding AND range, even pitchers. Catchers must be rated A- or better for all 3 defensive ratings.

The only exception is bench players under $1,000,000. They will need to have A- rating or better at either fielding or range, not both.

I wanted to gauge interest in this type of theme so post below if you want to play.

League rules:

• $120 million cap
• NO: AAA, Clones, DH, injuries, trades, or waiver wire.
• Divisions aligned randomly.
• Unique ballparks feature will be enabled so please claim an exclusive stadium upon signing up.
• 24 team league with standard playoff format.

I like the idea, but how do we know if defense really wins championships if all teams have pretty much the same defense? Maybe if one league was all defense and the other was like all d+ and under but would spend the money on offense rather than defense. Then we could really see what wins championship.
Just a thought, I didn't mean to divert your idea.

Thanks for the suggestion! I had thought about limiting stadiums when I was creating this league. If we use stadiums below 1.00 offense could be scarce.

I would consider this league, I've always had a soft spot for the defensive side of the game.

Should be an interesting league. Don't recall anything similar run recently.

Maybe owners should claim a stadium in the forum so other owners know what's available.
