Rifton has won this league every other season since I started paying attention, so maybe I should just predict a championship and be done with it...
Zubac's new season looks a lot like peak Gobert, so with the increased D he makes a solid 1st rounder. Duncan gives you a great defensive / rebounding front court (though a bit inefficient for the sim) with Favors rounding out a strong big rotation.
The team was rounded out with a strong focus on defense and a sprinkle of solid eFG%. My one quibble is the lack of passing outside of the PG rotation which may impact the team's offensive ceiling.
58.4% is on of the better team eFG%. Other than being a bit light on assists, this team is solid across the board and should be a contender.

I don't understand why KAJ goes so late in these drafts, he is a strong overall foundation. I know Garnett is good at everything else, but his combination of low eFG% and high usage is tough to quilted around. Duren and the Porters help, and the overall eFG% of 58% won't kill you, particularly supported by strong assists.
Overall this team looks pretty balanced. Defense is ok / not elite, but low towels helps. Should contend for a playoff slot.

The two times I won this league, it was with teams built around super high eFG%/TS%, with good assists, bad defense, and passable in other categories. Figured I would try something completely different this time...
Started with Rodman at SF to build a rebounding focused team. I was hoping Moses Malone would fall to me, but he didn't so chose between Caoela and Gillmore electing to sell out for rebounds and forgo the more complete player.
I came in thinking of using Bill Russell with Tatum and Westbrook as high usage guards, but the Big O was available, and I figured he was more well balanced (though at bit lower usage). Was surprised Tatum fell to me in the 5th, was thinking I would use Anthony Edwards with Robertson (Ant went earlier after not being drafted last season though).
Rounded out the team with Kanter and Faried, assuring monster rebounder at SF/PF/C at all times.
Overall, I think this team is a bit light on usage (took some high usage scrubs to get shots up) and will be amongst the worst in the league at shooting efficiency (54.9%). The offense will live or die based on offensive rebounding / second chance points, and will need a lot of scoring from the guards!
Rodman/Robertson/Russell should form a strong D and the team can limit opponent's offensive rebounds.
This is very different than any team I ever built before, so no idea how it will work. I'll predict a borderline playoff team with no chance at a chip.

The Mailman and Haliburton provide a nice balanced inside/outside core. Robinson and Williams form a low usage / high eFG% center tandom with goof OReb%, but weak DReb%.
Not sure than Buck Williams is the direction I would have gone (I assume he plays SF here). He's a strong defender, but adds a second position with super low usage and is only 96% at SF to boot.
That puts a lot of the usage burden on Malone, making Porzingis a good backup choice, and necessitates a SF with reasonably high usage. Moncreif has the usage and is a good defender, but do you really want the second option on a lowish usage team to have a <53% eFG%?
Despite the drain from Moncreif, a 58.3% team eFG% is amongst the highest in the league, and, combined with low TO and solid assists, this team should be on the high scoring side. Rebounding may be the Achilles heel limiting them to a mere playoff team rather than championship caliber, but a solid D should ensure a playoff appearance.

Whiteside and Mobley are a versatile pair of bigs that provide a nice mix of efficient scoring, rebounding, and defense. They are on the low side of minutes for Round 1/2 picks, putting more pressure on adding suitable backups.
Thompson adds strong defense with the ability to guard multiple positions, and, assuming you used 18-19, Siakam is another balanced wing. Bledsoe is another strong defender, but I may have preferred a more efficient scoring and/or better passing PG given that Thompson is on hand to guard the opponents biggest outside threat.
Note, I wrote this without seeing the actual team.

Starting with Doncic gives you great rebounding for a PG with super high usage. That opens you up to take lower usage complementary players like Wallace and Jones who can anchor the defense. I like Parish as a well rounded big, but, while I understand the desire for a strong defensive guard to play with Doncic, I think Robertson's low efficiency is going to hurt. Overall team eFG% of 55.5% looks a bit below average.
This team has a strong Defense and looks solid across the board outside of efficiency and too many towels. I think it will fall just shy of .500.

This is a team that really focused on defense, with a starting 5 whose worst defender is an 88! Jordan is great on D and the boards, but only shoots once a quarter making Erving a nice complement. Glad to see Ewing being used here as well, as he also works with Jordan. He never gets drafted in this league, but, while not as good, the big fella isn't really that different than David Robinson who perpetually goes in round 1.
55.7% team eFG% isn't terrible, but this team has very low assists and doesn't shoot threes - allowing opponents to pack the paint. I don't think the defense is enough to make up for subpar scoring, and predict this team will miss the playoffs.

Bird would be an absolute beast if you could get him to shoot more threes, as is he's still fairly efficient due to free throw shooting. Moses works well as an absolute beast on the offensive glass and forming the foundation of a strong defense. Barry fits as a lower usage / high eFG% PG, and with Bird's passing you could live without a true floor general.
Manu is well balanced, but, with a lower eFG%, I think his usage is too high and will take shots away from more efficient scorers. Noah is even less efficient, but at least his usage is lower and he anchors the D while adding a high number of assists for a big.
Overall the 55.5.2% team eFG% is a bit below average, but good passing and free throw shooting will help. Biggest issue appears to be turnovers, but overall this team should compete for a playoff spot.

Harden looks tricky to build around with the crazy high usage, and he loses a lot of his real life efficiency with reduced FT. I thought I was the high man on Sabonis, but I think this is a record for the earliest he's been picked. You won't get any argument from me though, I think he's a poor man's Jokic and good at everything except defense.
Ibaka and Sanders provide great D and solid rebounding, but are a bit inefficient for my taste. Less of an issue with Harden hogg8ng the ball.
57% eFG% is solid, and this team shoots a ton of 3s. Overall looks solid, other than a bit high with the fouls. I think it will contend for a playoff slot.

I'm a big fan of Barkley, and think he is highly underrated in this league. I like Mobley and Williamson with him (but think Mobley was drafted by someone else). Kawhi is well balanced and probably pairs well with anyone, but I would prefer not having and higher usage / lower eFG% players in the lineup with Barkley. When I won with him, no one else on the team was above 23.5% usage. This build has 4... Gasol and Williams are the real problems though. I wouldn't want them taking shots away from Barkley and Williamson (Kawhi is efficient enough not to hurt you, but I think you missed the opportunity to let Barkley be featured more). The 58.2% eFG% is solid, but could have been a lot higher given your offensive foundation.
Overall this team looks pretty solid and should compete for a playoff slot. I think I'm looking at a version that erroneously included Mobley though, so maybe the final version will be different. Think I would like the Barkley / Mobley pairing more than Barkley / Kawhi.
Looked again after Mobley was removed, and the eFG% dropped to 56.5%. I think this version is a bit worse. Has low to/fouls and good D, but a bit light on assists and threes that may encourage defenses to pack the paint. May come up just short of the playoffs.

The high usage comment got me wondering, what does everyone normally set as their usage cap in a salary capped league? I’m at 115% for my starters, with my bench being about equal. It’s a little on the high side for what I usually do, but I don’t have a super efficient main scorer that I’m trying to maximize so I’m okay with it. Does anyone have success running at 115? I normally try to cap it at 105ish, but I also don’t think 115 is crazy high.

and thanks for the evals!
