Question , my SS year is 2022 so my starter played 160 games there. Can I take a back up SS also from 2022 that played less than 20 games there as a utility guy or does my back up also have to have the min 20 games at that position? THANKS, Doug
To be fair it seems that you could have any amount of players from 2022 but they would have to have played 20 games at SS ... Not requiring this seems like opening the gate too far or something or some such

That was such a good question I must repost it do not think I have been asked that before ...
Makes one think of any given Year where a Player could be a fill in at SS having played 1-19 Games there but maybe an Allstar at 2B with 653 PA and RC27 8.53
I for instance always look and see if 2012 Marco Scutaro is available in the Rule V Draft
