Max of 2 teams per league rule:
In round 1, nobody will have more than 1 team per league. In round 2, nobody will have more than 2 teams per league. But once we get to round 3 & 4, it’s possible for somebody to have more than 2 qualify to advance. This will not be allowed. If this happens, the third/fourth qualifying team(s) with the lowest winning% will be passed over and the next best eligible team from the division will advance.
When I wrote this rule, I thought it was implied that this meant one team per half league (one AL, one NL). But I did not specifically state this anywhere.
Since it's possible for a person to have 2 teams advance from Round 2 League 1 and 0 teams advance from Round 2 League 2 --> to round 3, I have to allow this. This means that it's possible for one person to have two teams in the same half league (AL or NL)...
This also means that as Round 2, League 1 is nearing the end of it's regular season, we have to wait to see how Round 2 League 2 ends in order to see which 16 teams qualify for round 2.
This also means that it's also possible for somebody with 3-4 qualifying teams to get two teams from the same Round 2 league advancing to Round 3, if those two teams have the two best winning %'s of the 3-4 qualifying teams.
