Hitter Fatigue Topic

I searched but haven't seen much discussion on player fatigue. It's kind of disheartening to get beat badly by a team where their lineup is staggered with 50-60-70% hitters and their starting pitcher is 80%. I try to run only 99% at worst for the starters, especially pitchers. Not sure if it's worth it with batters but I see fatigued pitchers get shelled quickly so I figure it's not wise to push them very far. I definitely stopped fretting over playing a 95% hitter if there's no other options.

it is definitely disheartening but you will be a sizable favorite against a team that fatigued, but sizable favorite doesn't mean automatic win

hitter fatigue impacts defense more than offense so if you're going to use hitters fatigued it's best to do it with less important defensive positions like corner outfield, or ideally with a DH

The results of that series bears that out. That team took 3 of 4 and winning the division due to that series. Interesting on the defensive effect. Thanks,

06 was holding out on me. We are in a league together... I had asked about teams running lineups out there at 97%.....and was basically told they are only 97% as good.....For some reason I thought it was worse.....now I know...hahhhaa

I do notice (have no data) that highly fatigued players DO seem to get injured more but it happens so infrequently, I doubt there is a measurable impact.
