Confirming that any backup C we draft (or platoon) also has to be D- arm. I’m assuming most of these exclusives can’t play 162 games.

Yep, all catchers, including backups or platoon are restricted to D- arms.

Assuming we get to within striking distance of filling this (which we should, since it's a super fun build that doesn't require a lot of research), I'd be willing to take a second team if allowed.

Yeah, I was thinking about the option of entering a second team myself, if we get stalled with a few spots left to fill.
I selected Rickey as my legend but I'd be thrilled to build a team around any of them.

We'll see how it goes in a few days I guess.
