Every once in awhile, I look up biographies of some of these players - just to see what I can find. Looking up my first draft pick in this draft - Allen Sothoron, I found this:

"In 1921, sportswriter Bugs Baer came up with this immortal quip: "Allen S. Sothoron pitched his initials off yesterday."
