50-59 mil NFL Draft Series - 2026 Topic

Draft League Info and Q&A

Draft Pool 1941-25
our Draft Series will be leagues at 50,55, and 59 mil
We will have one Big 50 mil Snake Draft period - 16 rounds
Rounds 1-11 single picks
Rounds 11-16 will be double picks to speed things along
These 21 drafted players & units are the base of your football franchises and not shared.
Important : When you use a drafted Player or Unit in one of these leagues 50,55,59 - they are one and Done !!!
You will then turn to your next man up for the next league

Special Teams, Kickers and Punters are all pool players and can be shared

You will draft these exclusive positions and units - QB,RB,WR,TE, and these are exclusive by year OL,Def
Note : all undrafted players can be shared as we fill out the remaining roster spots each season

Draft - positions to fill
(3) QBs ^1 per league Total exclusives 72
(3) RBs ^1 per league Total exclusives 72
(6) WRs ^2 per league Total exclusives 144
(3) TEs ^1 per league Total exclusives 72
(3) Flex optional 1 per league- flex out of the positions listed above ^
(3) OLs 1 per league Total exclusives 72 - position exclusive by Year
(3) Ds 1 per league Total exclusives 72 - position exclusive by Year
(no) ST
(no) K
(no) P

Q- What if someone wants to use the player pool to fill a position and draft only 2 QBs and flex to an extra RB or WR in the draft ?
A- You can flex up to 3 players in this draft. But, only 1 flexed player can be used in each league, as each team must contain 7 draft picks

Q- Why 1 draft instead of 3 separate drafts ?
A- A ton of logistics go into a WIS draft. So, 1 draft will stock your base of 7 for each team

Q- How long will the Draft take ?
A- 16 rounds should take roughly 3 weeks. We will not rush this process and agree to try and finish in a month give or take a few days . This pace is one round completed in 48 hours. But, I think we can all agree to expedite picks as we have time in our schedules.

Q- Will all 4 leagues run at the same time ?
A- No, We will start at 50 mil, then move to 55, then 59 and finally 65

Q- What is the All-Star Clash League ?
A- At the end of the 50,55,59 Series, there will be one last totally comped League at 65 mil

Q- Can an owner field 2 teams ?
A- Yes, Theme leagues do not fill without some owners fielding 2 teams

Q- What if an owner doesn't like to comment in the Forum, Can they be a part of this Draft ?
A- Yes, Proxy drafting by sitemail is allowed. A total proxy draft is not recommended. This feature is for times when you are busy, just put a list of players together ahead of time

Q- Will there be in-season Challenges ?
A- Yes,
50milPromos will deal out prizes for this Series

Q- What if someone quits in the middle of this Series ?
A- If that happens that team and it's players/units can be claimed by another owner or those players/units go back into the player pool at season's end. Then,
50milPromos will fill a team totally from the player/unit pool for the next season if no new owner joins.

Q1: I draft Aaron Rodgers. I use one of his seasons for the 50Mil league. After this, neither I nor anyone else can use any of his seasons for 55M or 59M. Correct? Or is it only a single season of Aaron Rodgers that I exclusively draft?

Q2: Same query, but for the units; O-lines and defenses. Obviously drafting 72 unique franchises would be .... difficult.

Q3: My higher math skills inform me that 8 players/units (QB,RB,WR, WR,TE,OL,Def, Flex) times 3 leagues = 24 draftees per owner. Not 21. Maybe I don't understand how the Flex works.

This is the reason we have a Q&A session going, thanks tomhanrahan

A1: Correct, a player say Aaron Rodgers 2011 is drafted, that will be the only version of him that can be used. Pick the league and he's one and done.

A2: True, great point about Units. Units are not as plentiful as players. So, I think when it comes to Units only a certain year can be considered exclusive.

A3: Flex is a good tool but it's Only an option and doesn't count in draft rounds unless it is used. The guidelines for the draft are 3 QBs, 3 RBs, 6 WRs, 3 TEs. Example - you can flex and totally dump all 3 TEs picks and use the post draft pool for TE's. Then use the 3 flex picks to add to draft picks at QB,RB or WR if you want ...Note: But, remember those 3 TE's are 1 for each league, so the draft picks can only be used 1 for each league.

I propose them that if I draft Joe Burrow, I don't need to declare which season I will use until the rosters get set for that league. In contrast, the 1963 BRowns off line gets exclusively drafted for that year only.

Do I need to declare when drafting Joe Burrow which league he will be slotted in (50, 55, 59)..... Or can I leave this open , again, until the rosters are set? Ditto the 1963 browns off line.

With drafted players there is no need to designate a year or league until they are ready to play in it. Leaving the year open does leave room to fit the league budgets.

Units will need to be drafted by the year and don't have to be designated for league assignment until they are ready to play. This will allow for some mystery in our D-Challenges

OK What I take from this is I want BIG Name Players whom have played for Many Seasons to give me options. For my starters !
Back up QB,RB,WR,TE can be anyone whom was NOT drafted by a team
OL DEF each team drafts 3 of each. Team not important just the Team and Year not to be duplicated( we could all use the Ravens OL if they were all different years )
PK,Punt and ST any will do for All.

Is all the Above Right

Yes sir slingers25- On offense it will benefit to have Star players with a variety of salary options because the OL's and D salaries will be set.
and Yes all OL's & D's could/can be the same team just different years. Pickup your ST's, kickers and punters after the draft

rickshow,
In a nutshell
You are drafting your nucleus for 3 teams. We will not get started until everything has been ironed out and we are all on the same page.. I will try to make the Draft process easy as possible and have lists going tracking drafted players by position and the same for units.

Oh I am IN
12/30/2025 12:16 PM
I'm gonna say I'm in. Now, if anyone wants to sitemail me with a list of players who are SLF Poison so I have a few ideas of who sounds great, but I should actually avoid, I'd love some advice.

This Draft will be a test for all of our GM's from the start. How, we form our draft strategies will be huge, then competing for talent each round. None of us have ever built the base of 3 NFL teams in one draft until now. This all will take place in the heart of winter perfect timing.

Maybe Next time if there is interest do some thing like this. 50,55,59 BUT keep the same core Players for all Three. Would this be fun or just boring using the same core for 3 leagues. You would have to find the right version of each player for each CAP and build backups with the left over cash

QB Tom Brady ( Any season that works under the cap ) must be highest payed QB
HB Earl Campbell ( Any season that works under the cap )must be highest payed HB
WR Jerry Rice ( Any season that works under the cap ) must be highest payed WR 1`
WR Tim Brown ( Any season that works under the cap ) must be highest payed WR 2
WR/ TE Dave Casper ( Any season that works under the cap ) must be highest payed WR 3/TE 1
OL Denver ( Any season that works under the cap )
DEF Dallas ( Any season that works under the cap )
Special teams any

Backup anyone not on a team
