Do any of you guys in other leagues seem to have a problem every season with new owners signing up and immediately bailing?

My world Bench has been having this happen just about every season for a while now.

Just puzzles me that, this many people spend the money then never log back in again?

The game is overwhelming if you aren't prepared for it. I'm guessing thats the problem.

I think this is the main part of the problem, but not the whole story.

We have had the same problem in All The Way Mae this season. 2 new owners bailed out, 1 in the pre-season, 1 about 1/4 into regular season.

There is a theory going around that WIS fills a spot on a public team with a phantom owner just to get the world moving again. Could explain the ones who go AWOL early in the pre-season. I would hope the current WIS ownership has more integrity than that but with the current broken promises and lack of communication, I think it is a legitimate possibility.

Staff can't even add new stats to HBD so I don't believe they are capable of orchestrating phantom owners over 100 leagues.

I noticed WIS is offering introductory seasons for only $1. Basically free for new owners. Then they lose interest or weren't expecting the commitment.
