Bad Neighbor #10 - Full !!!! Topic

We are full!

I just finished a 12 hour drive, but I will sort out the draft details over the next day or two. My goal is to have r1 draft start by Tuesday.

Are we sticking with 1930, 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970 and 1980? Or eliminating one?

16 teams times four means we'll use 64 teams.

Here is how many teams each season has

1930 - 16
40- 16
50 - 16
60 - 16
70 - 24
80 - 26

Total - 114

That's way too many.

Even if we get rid of 1930 that still leaves 98 which is probably still too many.

I think we need to get rid of 1980 for a total of 88 teams which still sounds a little high, but better than the alternative.

So I think we should get rid of 1980.

Plus the 1930 teams generally have fewer players than 1980 which makes it more challenging which is what we want.

64/88 = 73%
64/98 = 65%
We often been close to 80%, so I agree with Beernoser.
1930, 40, 50, 60, 70

Waiting to get to 20 managers would take too long.

In league #8, we also had 4 teams per division.

Using that league as precedent, we will have dagger 2 (the less threatening one) thrown by a player in the other division of the same league.

All people new to the league can have a mentor from the other league if they want. The mentor should not make decisions for them but can tell them how to think about the decision and answer basic questions.

I'm always happy to answer questions too!

Once the draft thread is built, I will paste a link here!
