Random Box scores is back in a different version.

AL league = April 15,1905- Sept 28,1930 box scores (3 dates all used)
NL league = April 10,1975- Oct 1, 2000 box scores (2 dates)

When you sign up you pick a league and get a randomly generated dates with at least 8 games for your specific date.
You can only use those players from that date on your team.

In looking at your new random box-score league ... 1905-1930 and 1975-2000 ... I am very tempted to join again. But it seems to me that the modern era has a big advantage, in that the modern era player base to choose from is almost twice as big as the early era.

gworear 1905-1930 has a player choice from 17 games from two dates, while you with 1975-2000 have a player choice from 29 games from two dates. And that ratio probably won't change much with the rest of the random drawings. And since we're not twisting pitchers this time around, having a much smaller pitcher base would make it a lot tougher for the early era.

Would you consider giving the 1905-1930 era 3 random dates? Even then the early era probably wouldn't have as many games to choose from as the modern era, but it would help. If you could add a 3rd date to the early era, go ahead and sign me up with AL 1905-1930. Thanks..

Oofdah. Just realized there’s no twisting. That’s is going to be tough. I committed so I’ll stick with it even without the change as at least everyone in the AL will be dealt the same hand.

I will join with 1975-2000. No concerns from me if the format ends up being changed
