I'm leaning towards keeping Alabama bc I think I can tinker and make them better... I honestly don't think I can make the Cal Bears roster better than it currently is and would most likely just run it back.. I will make my decision as soon as the Super Bowl is over if that's ok....

I think Cal will win the Super Bowl, but that won't really affect my decision. I'm more likely to keep them if they lose, actually... But I'm leaning towards Bama regardless of the outcome.

I already have 2 completed rosters sitting in the queue! One of the schools we've never mentioned in the forum--and the other is not a powerhouse (barely found enough for the roster).

I also have one ready that hasn't been mentioned... (I don't think) & I barely found enough for the roster as well.. But- what I found is nice... Hopefully we don't have the same school lined up....

The kicker for that team is actually the one reason (which actually creates 1 more reason- trust me, it makes sense) I'm hesitant about entering them, but it's too fun too pass up.

For sure, let us know whenever you decide. We'll have about a 11 day break before selection day of Alums II. There are a few others out there pending too.

3.11.26 will be open for the owners with no keeper school and new owners.
3.16.26 will be open for 2nd team claims.

I'm guessing the 2nd period will go quickly to fill the league. We could start as soon as the weekend of 3/20/26.

That is amazing! I love it.

Cal Bears are available for Alums II. The reigning champs without a home currently-- and also the only team to be claimed and dropped twice! coolmay_one dropped Cal in the relaunch for LSU (who was 13-3). Fun facts! And gyrene did have Bama initially with a completed roster submitted before dropping them.

That’s great. I didn’t realize the connection there. I like Goff too. So happy that he is doing great with the Lions.

We can’t claim schools until the date/time mentioned. But post right at 6pm ET on March 11th and they could rightfully be yours. Trying a new concept with this selection day and keepers.

I was going to choose Brad Holmes' favourite college to draft from but most of those players are on D, or only the OL, so that wouldn't work with WIS' algorithm. LOL

We use pro football reference as the official source. It has worked well. Like the GM ref to your Lions. That’s what this is in the team build. Finding the right mix of players.
