Now that the green room of available teams has dwindled down to 10. We will pivot over to some of the team headquarters for a chat with what teams are doing to prepare for the season.

Felicity Huffman and Lori Laughlin have changed careers and joined the Franchise dreams reporting crew.

Felicity at the Packers HQ: Its awfully cold here. The team decided to gather at Red Lobster for all you can eat shrimp day. Unfortunately, these outings led the restaurant location to close down. So, the team has relocated to the Golden Corral buffet.

Packers fan: They got 7 digits and come here to take over the dining area! Now I gotta audible and go eat them little White Castle sliders.

Lori at the Panthers HQ: I'm here enjoying a 'full house' of players and Sir Purr with the fans. I like me some BBQ. They got this mustard sauce that they put on the meat.

Sir Purr: its purr-fect.

Nascar followers: We pay for that stinkin' stadium and you get all the Sundays to yourself. You try pit crewing. Grab a tire Bryce!

Felicity at Rams HQ: Dick Vermeil is seen crying again. He loves his team that much. He states: We are gonna rally around each other and play great football.

Rams fan: This is exhausting following this team from city to city. Good thing that "I'm a fool for the city" just like Foghat. You get it Felicity? You see what I did there?! Ahhh yeah. Lace 'em up girlfriend.

Felicity: Excuse me! You low budget hack (Camera is quickly cut off and now shows Lori unaware that the broadcast switched to her)

Lori: (looking into her phone and making strange gestures at it): Oh sorry folks. We are getting confirmation of a Dolphins party at Shula's restaurant, I mean they are actually tearing up the golf course waiting on their food.

Bob Griese via cell phone: I never took Brian to these bottle corkin shenanigans. Nonetheless Lori, we are ready to scorch them fools in the Orange Bowl. We got a live dolphin in an above ground pool in the end zone. Check it out. Bob attempts to make his own dolphin noise into the phone.

Lori: stammers and says, ok, we were able to catch up with Huey Lewis & the news on a taped recording. They are big 49ers fans.

Huey: You see the heart of rock n roll is still beating. Just like the West coast offense. We use that pass to set up that run.

Lori: It is hip to be square! Here, there, and everywhere. Whoooo- weee!

Huey: Why did they release that horrible song! And that cruising together crap with Gwyneth Goop or whatever her name is. She thinks she can really sing. You probably think that too because you are an actor. Actors are not artists!

Back in the studio. A nameless reporter grins and says: That's all for today. May all your franchise dreams come true!

Bengals: Burrow and great WRs. The 80s Bengals. Chad Johnson. or go Ken Anderson or Boomer.

Falcons: Matt Ryan. Julio. William Andrews. Jamal Anderson. Alfred Jenkins. Roddy White. Some nice 70s Defs.

Through sitemail the Patriots have been released back to available.

Separately, we do have a new team entry in the league, but it was for a team previously selected. I've sitemailed Witeout43 with the available teams. I'll follow up on that when i get more info, or maybe we see a post in here from the owner. Sometimes we get entries just based on the public theme league listing.

So we are at 2 openings after all that.

20 teams are in and finalized. Armchair says his Colts team is complete and is just contemplating final edits. Witeout43- holding a spot and waiting for a replacement selection.

Yes. That is the correct list right now.

FYI- Previous Washington owner had over 3 weeks and didn't enter the team- sent 2 sitemail reminders. Same as previous Bears, Pats, and Vikings owners that were dropped. The Patriots selection earlier tonight was followed a sitemail of not wanting to do the roster distribution.

This is a first time NFL Franchise league with roster rules, so we are doing well to be at this point after starting back on Feb 5th. We will get it filled and have the right people together for a quality theme league. Changing a salary cap from an open league without any impactful rules being enforced is not a theme league, its a gimmick masking more extreme offense.
