The way I understand it, prestige is only built into D1A. All the lower divisions have "Vision". Prestige is built into the game while Vision is earned! Any team can gain vision by improving their team each season, which is not unfair or unrealistic. The better a team becomes (wins vs losses) the more recruits or even better the recruits that would be willing to come to that team. That to me is a direct reflection of college football, well before NIL ruined it.

Okay, I don't really care what you label it. The point is that prestige as I described it, based on wins at all levels (ie. earned), and that component of vision that works the same as prestige, are fine for the game. The arbitrary absolute fracture of a smooth recruiting process based on, well, on nothing really, is the cancer that needs to be excised.

Big Role for QB's. Somehow their form iq is compared to the defense and is a determining factor in interceptions and "possably" completions.
It may also play role in other things like will this lb make the tackle ? or others but this is far less clear.

The problem is that you have Prestige and Vision as being the same or Vision actually being a "component" of Prestige, of which it is not. Prestige and Vision are completely different in this game. As I stated, Prestige only exists at the 1A level and is automatically built into the game with elites having a bonus over everyone, Power 5 having bonus over mid majors. All 1A teams can see all the recruits, there is no Vision bonus. At the lower levels there is ONLY Vision! No team 1AA and lower has a Prestige bonus in recruiting over another team built into the game. There is only the Vision in recruiting which is determined by the teams win loss record. The better you do the better your Vision becomes until you plateau. Vision is a bonus that can easily be overcome by any coach, however Prestige at 1A cannot be overcome by a coach. (No I am not saying that an elite cannot be out recruited, I am just saying that the built in Prestige cannot be changed by a coaches win loss record).

I would do away with the elite advantage altogether and would like to see that. Why should FSU for instance, or any elite, have a built in advantage over Georgia. If FSU over the past 4 seasons had a couple of first round PO exits and missed the PO a couple of seasons and Georgia won an NC and 2-3 SEC CC along with some other PO success, why would a recruit give any advantage to FSU in his decision? And we are seeing this in GD. Honestly FSU would be a common sim and others too if it wasn't for an advantage. All prestige should be earned in 1A. Navy and SMU should be on equal ground as well aside from recent team success or lack of.

My question would be, what are you going to do to invigorate interest in this dying game to draw in new coaches and keep those that have played and are playing? What can you do marketing wise to help?

I have long ago accepted that this game is what it is. An old man breathing on fumes in his deathbed compared to the youth full of vigor when you had to fight to get ANY team. Once in a while I like to visit this old man that I enjoyed when he was young. And so I am here for a few more visits until he breathes his last or I find something more important or fun to do.
Short of a brain implant into a young body this old man aint going no where.

yes lets do away with elites and vision, and any measure of success to shoot for. we should all be equal forever and always no matter what. we will flip coins and it will be super fair. 50/50 heads or tails just like real life. super fair.

I'd like to see the practice format reworked to allow position roles to be isolated for practice. IE, if I want to make just one RB my primary receiver out of the backfield I should be able to have him, and only him, practice those attributes to make him a better receiver. As it is now, to increase his passing routes ability for instance the entire RB room would be practicing passing routes. I don't want my FB going out in the pattern. If I did, I'd have my possession back fill the FB slot and go out in the pattern. TEs would also be a good example.

I would also like to see elites reworked, teams that earn higher ranking should be rewarded. Look at the BEAST in Wilkinson. The coaches consistently beating elite teams should move ahead and be considered the new elite. Also, coaches that haven't played in awhile should not be able to cut in line and get a team that's up for grabs ahead of a coach that has been playing in that world. Maybe recruiting money should stay with a team and not be erased when a coach leaves.

The BEast in wilk is full of coaches who are all more likely to win a game or two in the playoffs than not. Who cares who is elite when you have so much more money than everyone else? If i had a choice between elite or a spot in the sun belt or something with a group of coaches like that its a no brainer. Sign me up for the sun belt without a second thought.
