Toying around the app a bit, and while some things are nice little touches … overall I find it much less efficient or even workable. I’m close to giving up on it barring a round of significant improvements.

In case anyone is curious, the app will be Apple-only for the time being. The response to my ticket about it was "opening the app to more platforms is something we definitely want to do in the future." Given the customary time horizon of "the future" on this site I'm not exactly holding my breath.

The Apple/Android split in the general population is reportedly about 60/40; why you would exclude 40% of your potential customer base from any product enhancement is beyond me, but here we are.

Excellent point, since there wasn’t exactly urgency to release it. Also, I don’t find it an improvement over a browser, aside from a few small features. Until it has the forums though, it’s essentially useless to me.
