Hey seay00, sorry for not chiming in earlier. Life and work are keeping me from being on the site enough to keep up to date.I liked the banned list idea. I don’t know if it was in one of your draft leagues or another one but I had the same response as milest about tying picks and bans together in the first round.

I think people genuinely like to ban good players that are overused or players/defenses that perform way above cost so I think the list is a viable way to go.

We'll see if people vote on the poll just posted. I like the banned list idea too, but if too many people are dumping, its not worthwhile either. The 2nd round bans could really work in terms of strategy and team building. People would be making tougher choices in rounds 2-6. The ban and selections thereafter would possibly have more intent as milest pointed out.

Being new I have no idea who the good/overused players are so i’m just going with the flow on this league rather than giving input on how the bans should work.

Revised the rules on page 1 with the banned round being the 2nd round of the live draft. Thanks to milest and everyone for their input. I scrapped the banned list of 20 and inserted the 2 sentences below. Much shorter.

- 2nd round will be a banned round! You may ban any individual player or unit not drafted in the 1st round (11 year bubble ban for any OL or DEF). Please make this a worthy ban and not a lifetime backup or insignificant player. No banning of kickers, punters, or special teams units.

The reboot is now canned. A belated thanks to all that participated in 2023 and considered the restart. Lots of other leagues available. I love that the collective spirit is coming back to sim football. Find what works for you.

Gave it a good run! Sorry it didn’t make it back, this one was a lot of fun last time around.
