1 1984 Prog Team - Long Standing League Topic

As you're browsing the WIS classifieds today...please consider taking the available 1984 team in the All Time Progressive (ATP) League

The ATP is about to begin its 99th season of play! ...yes....99th.....you'll be playing with a bunch of "old folks" ;)

THE LEAGUE IS THE OLDEST SINGLE SEASON LEAGUE IN WIS THAT STARTED PLAY WITH THE 1885 SEASON

The available team's roster is listed below....it is a Kansas City team that plays at Royals Stadium

check the entire lineup of potential keepers below.....

Rules

* During the offseason, we will hold a draft for players who are new to the WIS database that year and non-keepers from previous seasons
* Draft order for Rounds One and Two is based on the team's "draft score" as determined by the following formula: Team Salary at Game 81 in millions to the tenth multiplied by two plus Team Keeper Salary in millions to the tenth posted by Game 135 minus total number of wins at Game 162. The low draft score picks first with low to high following for the first two rounds. ** Any Game 81 team salary or Keeper salary below $50 million is entered into the formula as $50 million

All of this results in winning improving your draft slot instead of losing...as a result...no matter where your team is in the standings...even up to Game 162...every game potentially matters when it comes to your draft slot
* The Draft order for all rounds following Round 2 is determined by the standings at Game 162 (final standings) with worst to first being the order of picks
* The Keeper Lists should be in within 9 days after the 120 game mark (Game 145). After that, you cannot change your list.
* No AAA
* No WW
* Trades are encouraged, AL/NL between leagues trading is allowed
* The league started using the DH in the NL and AL in our 1978 season
* Draft picks can be traded, but with a maximum of 1 seasons ahead. For example, if you make a mid-season trade in 1890, you can only trade your 1891 picks. During the 1891 draft, you can only trade draft picks for 1891.

* You may trade players after Game 120 but you cannot trade the player's salary for the following season. That salary counts as part of your keeper salary since the player remains on your team until the end of the season.
* There will be an injured reserve with players on I/R not counting toward the total number of keepers
* Franchises are allowed to change stadiums, but this can only happen twice every 50 seasons at maximum. Also, you cannot change twice within a 10 year span.
