I’m having back surgery Thursday morning most likely won’t be on WIS at all tomorrow. Hoping to be back on Friday or Saturday. If someone could bump this up a couple times tomorrow I would appreciate it.

Surgery done and I’m home same day. Doc said things went perfectly. Despite my extreme pain I can manage a little smile over that result

Good to hear! Anytime you go under the knife it's risky. Surgery and recovery is why and how I found WIS in the first place, long story.

Yes Russ I will have more time for WIS while I’m off.
Only been a little over 24 hours since got out of surgery. I am finding any movement causes me a lot of pain but movement is a key to recovery.

Thankfully I can get some relief when seated and hold still. Lieing flat on my back also gives me some relief . Trouble is moving out of those positions is very painful.

i was warned about all of this so it is no suprise.

I will be getting a league number later today so those of you who have their team ready can enter. Just about done tinkering with my Billy Martin team.

Billy was the Tigers manager for a short time. He got the most out of an aging Tigers squad and made the playoffs in 1972. One of the great things I remember about Billy (and there were many) was when the Tigers were in a slump and he drew that days lineup out of a hat. That was back when you could argue with the Umps and Billy was one of the best at it

Definitely remember the lineup drawn from a hat.
