You know what I think will actually make recruiting a lot more interesting and fun! Offer up 1 HOF recruit each year whose playing parameters would reflect the actual star. For example, Michael Jordan whose play making skills, athletic ability, and shooting would be "lights out" at a very early stage in his career! If for some reason you can't use the actual star's name, use a name (or indicator) that makes it clear this is no ordinary recruit! I would also not allow him to be able to declare EE until at least his junior year! If you think about it, it will actually shake up the game quite a bit, and it would be easy for admin to implement!

Okay, obviously there is no interest in this. But again, if there were, it would be easy to implement. To avoid any copyright laws, just make the recruit the top recruit in the "top 100" and put a "HOF" designation by his name!

Personally, I think every time recruiting has been updated, it has gotten worse. I wish they would eliminate potential entirely and go back to the beginning of HD where practice plans shaped player development entirely. It would make almost every generated recruit playable and would allow coaches to mold a roster to their own specific tastes.

But, they won't do that. That would give up control of the process. God forbid.

I miss those days honestly it was simpler and more effective.

Agreed. It was also fun. I had one roster at Johnson State (DIII) where I recruited only players with the last name of Johnson...and they made the PIT in my 4th or 5th season there before I dropped them. Reading the play-by-play was hilarious.

Those were the days.
