This will be a Retro Season. You can only use coaches who stopped coaching before the 21st century. So the last season that they could have still been a head coach is 1998-1999. Any coach who was a head coach in any season from 1999-2000 or later is banned from this season. Also dropping the salary cap from $52M down to $50M.

I am starting things out with 2 teams. I have to take my favorite team when I was growing up, so I am going with Red Holzman. My second team will be coached by Jack Ramsay. As always, each team must include at least one player from each franchise that our coach was at. Teams must play at the home arena of one of the teams that your coach was at.

Salary Cap - $50M
Coach can not have been a head coach after the 1998-99 season.
No clones, no waivers, no rookies, no trades
Auto draft
NO DUPLICATE COACHES IN THE LEAGUE!
Once a coach is taken no other team can have him for this season.

I pick Alex Hannum.

I just want to clarify the rules... can I use any player from any season as long as they once played under Hannum, or only players he coached during those seasons he was coach?

Only seasons where the player was playing for Hannum.

Hannum coached 7 different teams so you have to have at least one player from each of those franchises on your roster.
