This is a progressive league that advances one year at a time.
It’s a 16 team league that uses a 154 game schedule.
There's no DH or AAA or clones.
Stuff unique to our league:
We are currently in 09/89 season. Our next draft will have the 1910 rookies and 1990 All Stars. Each draft has the old time rookies and the modern All Stars who aren’t all ready in the league (it’s usually about 20 of them).
The draft is just rookies and eligible all stars. If a dude is cut or forgotten, he is removed from the player pool.
The 1st round draft order is best to worst, excluding the two World Series Teams. There’s no advantage to tanking.
I provide a spreadsheet of
all eligible players (with stats and stuff) like a month before the draft.
There's a 27 man roster so you don’t have to cut good players.
The draft is 7 rounds each year and takes about a week.
Our next draft is starting now but the first round is untimed.
The teams are all pretty good (salaries average about 90-100 million) but it’s super easy to rebuild because you can take all stars in the second and third round.
The team will have a mid draft pick, around 8.
