Here will be my attempt at league starting.
Maybe it gets no traction, maybe its just different enough to interest people.
It is a 6 round draft where you take 2 players at a time. The gimmick is that you have to take players with identical surnames/first names depending on the round. (Names must match exactly: Bob and Bobby are not the same)

Round 1 is matching last names
Round 2 is matching first names
Round 3 is matching last names
Round 4 is matching first names
Round 5 is matching first names
Round 6 is matching last names
(could be convinced to make rounds 3/4 the ones that switch if people think that is more fair)
Players are unique, so if one gets taken for his first name, he is no longer eligible as a last name selecton.

There are obviously some heavy hitting last name combos at the top of the draft, but i think the talent still available for the first name round definitely balances it out. I like that there will need to be decisions made whether a guy is worth taking even if he can only bring an albatross with him. I feel like some people might end up in this league that have never been drafted before.

I would take thoughts on if a cap makes sense, to at least create some consequence to consider in drafting a mega stars other half.
