Mostly random not 100%.

I will have a method to tweak a random drawing if someone would start with a team they have previously started with. A new player right above or below them could be impacted. But aside from that, both the initial team and the order in which you pick from the other 23 franchises is completely random.

So do we have to pick from all 23 or 1 per division?

Read the rules never mind so it is our choice what order we go in for the rest of the draft as long as we pick one from each of the 23

The order of the draft is set randomly. In each round, you pick from a different one of the 1969 franchises.

I will grab a link to the most recent one. Round 1 is random, except adjusted to make sure people have a different starting point than in the last 5 iterations. Round 2 and forward is randomized. But you could swap positions with someone as long as neither had played the same r1 team previously.
