I appreciate your confidence. But I'm still looking at 21 empty roster spots, so I think there's ample time for this thing to go any which way.

Well, here is some perspective. In the previous draft tournament where we selected 5 teams and had to roster 5 players per team, I drafted 1920 with the 3rd overall pick in round 1. I led the league in scoring and Joe Jackson went for .353/.415/.522, 130 RBIs (won MVP). Eddie Collins went .313/.377/.388. Happy Felsch went .294/.336/.410 with 28 plus plays in CF. bigsteve12 drafted 1910 in round 3 (since there isn't much else on that team) and Ed Walsh won the Cy Young with a 37-7 record, 2.17 ERA for a .500 team that finished near the bottom in runs scored.

To put those two seasons together is very scary. I project 100+ wins in round 1.

Welp..we didn't get to start with 2010 Walsh this time, so we are gonna need a lot more help. Let's go offense and see if we can be a .500 team by scoring a few runs this time.
