Good guesses, but NO to all of those!

OK...I'm tempted to say Gaylord Perry or Jim Kaat or someone who had been playing a long time since by 1979 BUT:
1.) That W-L percentage is insane
2.) I know your managerial style well enough to know that you love a tandem and/or Long A strategy to maximize a pitcher's win chances (which would explain the W-L percentage)
3.) I did cheat and look at your current roster in order to narrow down the candidates (I can't see their career records - only their 1979 stats)
