Hey all--I'm new to FC Dynasty (been playing Hardball Dynasty for a few years, and figured I'd give the soccer sim a try in the wake of the World Cup!). Something I found super helpful was having a mentor in HBD who could give me a bit of a crash course in the game. I know there is the "FC Dynasty Unofficial Guide Book" thread, which I still need to read, but I'd be eternally grateful if anyone has 10-15min to do a Zoom in the next week or two to give me some live advice. That got me onto a great footing for HBD, and I promise I will pay it forward if FCD sticks! Thanks in advance!

I don't use zoom but hopefully one of the others would be willing to do that for you. If nobody offers, I could do a sitemail exchange after the tournament I am running completes in a few weeks.

Welcome to the game. It is the opposite of HBD, which is mega complex...this game is very basic. The number of people who play is small but a lot of us have been playing FC Dynasty for a long time, if not from Season 1. Hope you like it and stick around.
