Uecker is a fun and competitive league, which is why we generally have low turnover. This season we only have three openings, but nevertheless there are some great opportunities available. Here is a snapshot of the Franchises you can choose from:
Vancouver Moose (54-108) 1st Overall Pick - The Vancouver Moose are available in Uecker, and this is an appealing opportunity for an owner who enjoys taking control of a franchise with both history and pieces already in place.
Vancouver was once a league heavyweight—winning 115 games in Season 60, 93 in Season 61, and 104 in Season 62, when the Moose advanced all the way to the LCS. The franchise has fallen on harder times recently, which means the next owner gets the chance to shape the next era.
There is still legitimate ML talent to work with, led by Santo Colome (83 OVR), Don Green (81), Russell Rivers (78), Ronnie Osborn (75), Jabari Sheridan (74) and Shunsuke Huang (71). The upper minors also include useful depth such as Malcolm Hannity, Alan Costello, Shawn Benson and others.
Vancouver also plays in Nat Bailey Stadium, a neutral park that gives a new owner complete flexibility in how to construct the roster.
This is a great fit for someone who wants a real challenge without inheriting an empty cupboard: evaluate the veterans, develop the younger talent, make some trades, and build Vancouver back into a contender.

Jackson Actions (67-95) 8th Overall Pick - The Jackson Actions are available in Uecker, and this is a strong opportunity for an owner who wants a franchise with recent success, useful Major League talent, and multiple ways to move forward.
Jackson has been one of the league’s more successful teams over the past decade, winning 9 division titles in 12 seasons and reaching 91+ wins six times, including a 96-win season in Season 61. The Actions also won the division as recently as Season 67 and followed that with an 88-74 Season 68.
There are several quality ML pieces already in place, led by Esteban Cayones (89 OVR), Jose Rijo (77), Benjamin Wallace (76), Angel Martin (74) and Yoervis Morales (70). The upper minors also offer useful depth, including Teddy Davis, Tomas Owen, Anibal Pena, Paul Ward and Patrick Sierra.
Jackson plays in Smith-Wills Stadium, a completely neutral park, so the next owner has full flexibility to build around pitching, power, defense, speed, or a balanced approach.
This is not an empty rebuild. A new owner can choose to retool quickly, reshape the roster through trades, or build the next long-term contender from the ground up.
Pawtucket Patriots (78-84) 17th Overall Pick - The Pawtucket Patriots are available in Uecker, and this may be the most ready-made opportunity of the three for an owner who wants to compete without taking on a major rebuild.
Pawtucket has been consistently competitive, posting winning records in six of the past nine seasons, including a 90-72 Wild Card season in Season 67. Even last season’s 78-84 finish kept the franchise within striking distance of contention.
There is plenty of legitimate ML talent already in place, led by Douglas Kell (82 OVR), Jim O’Shea (79), Chuck Snyder (79), Ezequiel Albernaz (77), Ernest Mann (77), Kevin Duran (76) and Lonny Marin (76). The organization also has useful upper-level depth, including Jose Maduro (75), Jimmie Norman (73), Steve Butler (69), Charlie Fassero (68) and Shayne Gibbons (68).
Pawtucket plays in McCoy Stadium, a completely neutral park, giving the next owner flexibility to build the roster around whatever style best fits the talent.
This is a strong fit for someone who wants to retool rather than rebuild. There are enough established ML pieces to pursue a quick turnaround, while the system provides additional depth and trade options.
