Not to be presumptive but I had the same question and went and looked at the list, its the second Dutch Leonard

Yes, the 2nd one has the higher WAR so I would assume so also. But just trying to make it clear for everyone.

Division Drafts

Round 1 rankings determine division alignment (1-12-13-24 in NL East, 2-11-14-23 in NL Central, 3-10-15-22 in NL West, 4-9-16-21 in AL East, 5-8-17-20 in AL Central, 6-7-18-19 in AL East). Owners will nominate any single season in order from 24-1. Each division will then hold a draft using exclusively players from the four selected seasons for their division.

Division drafts will require owners to select the specific season and salary of each player as they draft. A player will go off the board for that division once any season is selected. Draft order for the first round will go from highest-ranked owner down (e.g., 1 drafts first, then 13, then 14, then 24). Subsequent rounds will go from lowest cumulative salary to highest.

DH: No
Seasons: All
Clones: No
Park: Any stadium in use in any of your four seasons
Alignment: By Round 1 standings as above
300K exception: No

Given that it doesn’t say so here I’m going to assume the answer is no, but once your division has its four years are there any requirements in terms of number of players from those years? Or is is (my assumption) up to you?

There will be no requirements for using the four years any particular way, no. It’s just your draft pool. Build as you like in your draft.

Let’s draft!!

$100M questions

Are seasons exclusive? For example if the ALE drafts 2020, is it off the board for the other divisions?

Also, can the same season be selected twice within a division? I know no clones, but let's say 1888 gets taken first because someone wants Silver King. But I as the second person drafting also want Silver King. Can I nominate 1888 again?

It sounds like all seasons are exclusive in the initial "Season Draft". So, 24 different seasons will be in play for the entire league

I believe each team in the division then has access to the 4 years that are selected for that division. So if one of your division mates takes 1888 and you pick before them, then you can take 1888 Silver King , and they cannot as players are exclusive. You don't have to take players only form the year you contributed.

So, in summary, each division will have 4 exclusive years to draft from and you can take any player from those 4 years. Is this right?

Correct

But for the 100M draft, within the same division could a team take a clone of a player if they are available in the 4 selected years or can there be only ONE instance of each player within that division.

The theme description says no clones...

Only one version of any player can be used in each division draft.

No roster can have a clone on it.

(What I was trying to convey elsewhere was that if 1927 Babe Ruth gets picked in one division draft, 1931 Ruth can be picked in a different division. The division drafts all have different seasons and run independent of one another. But if 1927 and 1931 are two of the seasons for the same division, only one version of Ruth can be taken in that division.)
