Thoughts on using high HR/low OAB guys like Bauer and Maeda only on a home field, such as Petco and PalaceOTF and using Joss in a more HR friendly park?

Do you feel the game needs an overhaul? Seems to be getting doubles and triples guys with great range is the way to go? Or can you have the same amount success having good range at SS and CF, with average to poor range at the other positions.

I like good range guys in CF, SS, and 2B. I can live with range and fielding at 1B, 3B, and LF. RF needs some range (c or better). Bigger the field, the more range in OF I need.

I'm the commish of a league that sort of does this--it's called Grand Slam and each season is technically four seasons. Right now, we are in 1973-1976. We started back in 1885-1888, the brainchild of Razorclams. If you own a player during the specified years, you just pick which one season you want to use. As you said, it's nice because a great player might only last 3 or 4 league seasons, you have to keep restocking.

Thanks Heb....RazorHawg just created a new progressive with a 5yr cap on keeping players that may accomplish what I was looking for in that I dont like leagues were a long term superstar gets drafted/locked down for his entire career. This one will force you to reload every couple of years and NOT have ot skip any years...some great owners and Season 1 starts this week.

I’ve been playing for years (always around .500!). I have yet to crack the code on the settings in “Team Managerial Style.” I see no impact whatsoever (other than the rest players options). And thoughts?
