D2 has the prestige advantage if you have the money to spend

Wow. No kidding. That's actually surprising. I assumed D-1 C was definitely better than a D-2 A. Thanks.

This was my experience during beta too -- prestige mattered more than division. Seems absurd to me, but that's #Spudball.

I think he is still old HD

Wait, really? In 3.0 a D2 can be higher than D1? I thought Seble beefed up the division multiplier?

I'm still in 2.0(Phelan)

A D-2 team that has failed to get out of the 2nd round in the last 4 years ahead of a mid-tier Big 6 school. Makes sense to me..

I was thinking, maybe I just need to practice my footwork more to win this recruiting battle?

He made a lot of adjustments during beta to semi-fix it amidst all the complaints, but he was still oddly committed to giving everyone a theoretical chance to sign anyone.

So if a D1 and a D2 are battling during late recruiting, my impression is whichever has the A will still have the advantage over whoever has the C. Time will tell whether that artifact from beta stuck.

That would certainly reduce your travelling costs.

Hmm yeah that will be interesting for sure. Hopefully people post results of battles so we can learn what's going on.

In beta now, a D+ D1 team, even with poor preference match-ups, will easily take a recruit from an A- D2 team with +4 preference match-ups. It isn't even close. They aren't even on the same planet. Division is all that matters. Division trumps all preferences.

Surprise! Seble went waaaay overboard on D1 prestige and the division modifier. D1 is still it's own little world. Thanks for nothing, Seble.
Except that's how it should be in my opinion. I think most people would agree that a D1 school should win.
