Short version - Pick a player (daily) from each franchise during your 30 min window. Arrange proxies if you cannot make it. You can pick early if all before have picked, but missing your window imposes a "late pick" penalty every 30 minutes. My PLAN is to draft from a new team EVERY day (even if someone remains late on the pick from the prior day).

When you have 1st pick, you get TWO players from that franchise and your team will play in their division. Other picks = 1 player only. That gets us to 25 players total. Drafting a player means you can use ANY year they played for that day's franchise. Someone else can draft the same player's time from a different franchise. Last season someone had several Beltrans, each from a different franchise, which is fine. A player like Ohtani who starts on both sides gets drafted separately for each side since WIS salaries differ by the side.

If a player switched teams during a season, you can only use their partial with that team, NOT their combined with other teams. Because of the salary cap, you should probably pick several players who had both CHEAP seasons and also GREAT seasons. You can search season type using "Full/Partial" to screen out the combined seasons that you cannot use.
