NATIONAL LEAGUE options in Munson for Season 65:

NL North Franchise (formerly Chicago): Chicago dropped to a 68-94 record this season, good for 3^rd in the division. They need some TLC as they were low in most team categories across the board. They were 11^th in team batting average and 10^th in runs scored. On the defensive side, they were 13^th in team ERA and also 13^th in team fielding percentage. They have 15 players on payroll for next season, but only for 56 million dollars and 5 more heading to arbitration. They will also have the 8^th pick in next season’s amateur draft.

NL West Franchise (formerly Tucson): This franchise was 3rd in the division with a 78-84 record in a tough NL West. They were healthy in offense, ranking 2nd in team batting average, and turning that into 3^rd in runs scored. Their pitching and defense let them down as they were 12^th in team ERA and 8^th in fielding percentage. However, the chance to mold this franchise is there. Only 7 players are on long term contracts for 43 million dollars next season. And only 2 are headed to arbitration. So plenty of money to spend on whichever direction you want to go. They will also have the 15^th and 16^th picks in the upcoming draft.
