Here's a new idea relative to the history of each NFL franchise. You pick 1 current NFL team out of the 32 teams that is exclusive to you. Post here to claim the team. First timestamp gets the team. 70 million cap. No clones.

We confirm the historical timeline available for your team (AFL and NFL where applicable). And the distribution to fill the roster in the forum after you claim the team. Therefore its clear to everyone.

Just a quick rundown---Browns are Browns. Ravens are Ravens. No use of the Steagles players/units of 1943 for either Philly or Pittsburgh when they combined. Dallas Texans are the KC Chiefs. Houston Oilers are the Tennessee Oilers/Titans (not NY Titans). Rams are Rams. Colts are Colts. Chargers are Chargers. Redskins are the Commanders. Raiders are Raiders. All Cardinals are Cardinals. There may be others to iron out, but we can visit that when the current team is chosen.

The full roster of 23 spots must be equally distributed (as close as possible) over the franchise existence to represent each decade.

For example:

Eagles (1940s-2020s): 5 decades will have 3 roster spots, 4 decades will have 2 roster spots.
Texans (2000s- 2020s): 2 decades will have 8 roster spots, 1 decade will have 7 roster spots.
Buccaneers (1970s- 2020s): 5 decades of 4 roster spots, 1 decade will have 3 roster spots.
Browns: Same as the Eagles example, but no Ravens in 1996-1998.

The decades should be even in the amount of reps or no more than 1 rep more.

Claim a team now and then you can tinker with it until you get the final roster intact. Then you'll post the team name, salary, and team roster distribution by decade. Any edits we can work out via sitemail.
