HBD's worst world has rolled and needs two owners. We are, of course, the world with the most drama and problematic owners. Full of tankers, wankers, and bankers(?, hey, it rhymes) it's a wonder we ever make it through a season without fatalities. It was two, maybe it was three, seasons ago we had an owner try to reset his entire roster by turning it into quark-gluon plasma. It was a mess.
Anyway, the above is all sarcasm for the slow ones here who actually believe the ads that say "We're the best world!" Which is like saying my dad could beat up your dad. It might be true, it might not, but who really cares?
Here are the two teams we have available, one kinda sucks full-stop, the other is poised for great success (maybe):
AL South – 16 consecutive sub .500 seasons. 33 seasons without a playoff appearance. Never won a championship. This team is begging for success or begging for a biscuit. One of the other. Has some decent prospects in the minors. Will draft #7 this season. Imagine the ego boost you’ll get from turning this team around. Really. You will feel better about yourself. Cheap therapy. 555.
NL East – Drafts #5 this season. This team was once a stud but has been put out to pasture, but I wouldn't call it a gelding (not yet anyway). Minors are a bit thin on talent. Of the two available teams, this one needs more work. Last owner was a mid-season replacement that ignored the part where I said “looking for someone to stay beyond this season”
Bonus points to anyone who understands the reference "555"
