Hey GD brothers. I'm here to bid you a fond farewell. I recently had surgery to remove a brain tumor. Turns out, it was a stage 4 glioblastoma. There is no cure for glioblastoma. The doc said with chemo and radiation they can buy me 14-18 months. When you get that kind of news, you take stock of your priorities. While I've enjoyed my time on GD, it is certainly one of those things I'll have to sacrifice as I make the most of the time that the Lord gives me on this earth.

With that said, there will be a couple of decent teams opening up in the next cycle. Grand Valley State in Bryant and Georgetown in Leahy. If you choose Bryant, I hope you're able to find the secret sauce to beat blackjesusjr. I think I was able to beat him once in our several matchups. I will give it my all while I finish out these last cycles with these teams.

Don't feel sorry for me. I have full confidence and assurance that when I leave this earth I will stand in the presence of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm grateful that he gave His life to save an old, undeserving, wretch like me.
