AMERICAN LEAGUE options in Munson for Season 67:

AL South Franchise (formerly Iowa City): Iowa City got a new owner for this past season and that owner promptly disappeared. It was guided by a replacement owner for the majority of the season to a 65-97 record and last in the division. The instability has affected the franchise as they were low in most major team categories. Last in the AL in both batting average and runs scored. They were 15th in pitching ERA and 13th in fielding percentage. They have 7 players under contract for about 49 million and 10 more going to arbitration. They will have the 6th pick in the amateur draft. They could use someone willing to rebuild for multiple seasons.

NL West Franchise (formerly Santa Cruz): Santa Cruz finished second in the NL West with a 76-86 record. This franchise could go either way, needing maybe a few pieces to be a contender, or could be ripe for a tear down and rebuild. They were 8th in runs scored and only 12th in team batting average. The pitching ERA was 14th in the NL and a fielding percentage which ranked 5th. They only have 3 players committed to contracts for next season at 15.7 million and another 6 players going to arbitration hearings. They will have the 15th pick in the amateur draft.
