I'm a "hot hand" guy.
I believe streaks happen and do try and take advantage of that.

I try my best to trust the underlying probabilities and ignore the hot hand but I'm only human, my brain always want to assign reason to things that are purely the whims of a random number generator

Ive never had Rickey Henderson do much for me. I also do not see Steve Carlton seldom if ever in leagues....even his 1972 season and he was one of the most dominant pitchers for a decade. Same goes for Jim Palmer who I see often but he doesnt seem to deliver.
