As someone fortunate enough to have Moreno for 12 seasons, I will say that I found it extremely valuable to send out the guy with second lowest ERA all-time for 1-2 innings almost every other game.

Until his final season, the HIGHEST ERA he posted for me was 2.68. He also had a 2.13 ERA in 97 postseason appearances.

Juan Moreno (P) got lots of love from his owners during his career - seasons @ $MIL per season. As a set up relief pitcher he was one of the best.

Juan Moreno (P) deserves more HOF love. He never played for my team, and his front-page stats don't jump out but what a career. I would kill for that type of pitcher.
