A while back when I first started playing this game , I had a real top prospect in HIA. That HIA team made the playoffs and that prospect proceeded to suffer a devastating knee injury .

A 365 day injury. Lost most of his power,health,speed etcetera. He wasn't ready the next season until mid season. That's why I never play my blue chip prospects in the minor lg playoffs.

Then add to that the fact that recovery is practically broken. A 23 year old isn't likely to be worse the rest of their career due to a single 30d stint on the DL, etc. etc. etc.

To me, the worst part of the injuries isn't really the volume at ML level.

It's the fact that the lengthy ones always seem to happen to A) stars and B) stars with high health ratings. Similar in the minors, if you they are your 1st or 2nd round picks, they seem far more...
