Kid was 91 on the Big Board - it is painful when highly unlikely EEs happen.

A+ prestige and making the Elite 8 moved him up about 30 spots. Also, not to mention there are usually a bunch of freshman and sophomores that are in the Top 60 that are listed as "likely staying", which contributed to it.

About a 6% chance he leaves. Tough break

EE Data

the redshirt + EE is brutal as hell

14% according to Benis data. So about a 1 in 7 chance. And without the redshirt, probably would have been on the fence anyway, and closer to a 45% chance. I wouldn't call it brutal. Tough luck, sure. But certainly reasonable.

Benis data is for likely staying overall - at 91 one would guess he's in the bottom half of the likely staying group - except that elite eight boosts odds a bit

effects of redshirt are interesting - the kid was mediocre as a FR - but with nice potentials - probably should have held him back in a couple of categories

And the fact that he's a third year. I'd guess he's right in the middle of that category, if not closer to on the fence.

Oops. Yeah he was likely staying and not staying. Yeah 14%

I assumed if one took accurate data, you could almost project who goes into the draft UNLESS there is some randomness to it. Although, I haven't taken any significant data, I haven't seen any evidence of it. Tark just ended so maybe I'll check into it and see if there is some type of pattern.

I haven't seen Mike in a few days, hopefully they've banned him so we can finally have some meaningful and intelligent discussions.

About how to cheat? Or how to officially retire from the forums but still post?

I have a couple seasons on my account and haven't played the latest release. Should I wait for the new ownership to upgrade the game or dive right in?

I don't think many of us expect any big changes in the near future.

I'd go ahead and give the game a try. Read the forums first- lots has changed.

You can ignore some threads that descend into long personal things....as ever....but some are good enlightenment on how the new game works.

Think of it as substantially a new game. Agree with Mike - unlikely that there will be big changes soon - although I keep hope alive for fixes of some glitches and some tinkers that could help a bunch.
