#23 PF, #88 Overall, ****; promised 10 minutes. A lot depends on just how high the potential is for Robillard in stamina. Everything else is good or acceptable, but his stamina rating really needs to get up to 80 or better for him to be the eventual starter he would seem to be. It could stop at 77, 80 really wouldn't be the best place for it to stop...the higher the better.

#51 PF, #216 Overall, **; no promises. While stamina is an issue for Branson, the bigger question for him is where his defense tops out. If he can get up to 90 in defense, low post, athleticism, and stamina, he could be a pro. He's got a ton of potential, and he might even be willing to redshirt (though I doubt that would be a good idea for class structure).

Unfortunately, on this computer, this gets sort of jury-rigged looking. Anyways, the #5 Michigan State Spartans, start of Season 39.

Thoughts for Season 39:

This team had better produce this year. I have never seen a guard as talented as Russo and I probably never will again. Lacombe is a great point. Nelson, though he's a forgotten man on this team, is a great defender and should be fine on offense. Warren and Donahue are extremely good big men...every one of the starters would be a star on almost any team in DI. Every one of them is a strong defender, too.

Looking at the backups, Hodges has been productive as an outside shooter (I can't really explain why, since I've had guys who have had better ratings but haven't been able to get the ball in the basket, even as backups), Libby and Childs and Peterkin continue to grow and improve, though I'd imagine that the first two could be productive his year. I expect big things from Edwin the Pole, but that might take until the middle of the season to be realized. I'm a big fan of Branson as a long-term prospect, and Robillard should be able to do some good things this year.

The team may fall a bit short on FT shooting - they'll have to make that up by being dominant elsewhere. They're not terrible, but they're not good, either.

If Russo doesn't start tearing up the world, there is something clearly wrong with this game.
