#4 PG, #29 Overall, *****; promised 10 minutes. Price is my second favorite recruit this year.  He's going to be a very good player at any one of three positions for us, PG, SG, and SF.  Right now, he's probably our backup PG.  I expect him to become a pro eventually.

The one that got away...we didn't really have to spend so much on Price in beating Iowa State, but once Northwestern closed the deal on this guy there wasn't any point in saving money for anyone else, since it would all get liquidated at the end of the year, so I wanted to just hurry the process a little bit.

Without this guy, our frontcourt is a little thin.  I think he would've helped our team considerably.  Oh well.  Northwestern surprised me.

Exhibition 1:

Obviously our FT shooting was abysmal, and our defense was not up to our standard, and we let a team that's not ranked as highly as us (although they're still ranked) beat us at our place...but we did display some very efficient offense, so that's a building block.  There are a lot of new guys to incorporate here.

McNutt is getting close to earning the start, but Edwards continues to improve and play with efficiency.  I can't think of who would replace Perry if I took him out of the starting lineup.  Maybe Reynolds.  That would improve our athleticism but I don't know if he's earned it, or if Perry has lost the right to be the starter.  I guess the team's playing pretty well right now so why change...?
