For transparency into the formula, see the weightning details below. Each measurement is collected for each of the past 10 seasons and weighted in two ways: 1) by the importance of the success category and 2) by the age of the season in time.

I like your system and thanks for the hardwork u put into it KB! But,there no Mid-Majors teams on your list! All I see is Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, PAC 10 and SEC they make up 21 of the 25 teams! Its hard enough to make the NT being a MId Major and now we can't even make your list... LOL! LETS GO PEAY!

I stopped doing my list because coach_billyg is doing some wild research on all worlds. He does last 5, 10 and 20 seasons, among other things. You can find it in the main hoops dynasty forum under "current dynasty list, 5/5".

Those things are hard as hell to read. I liked the one jleo had going and kybjones is carrying on. I have one thing to ask though. Could you add some more teams so you can see the top 50? I'm pretty sure that's what jleo did. Would love to see some of the lower schools on the list.

i agree with whats being said...I have a hard time believing there are few to none lower/mid-major teams able to make the list as there are only 2 in the top 25. I know ppl will always complain with these things, I am glad to see someone is continuing jleo's top 25 but extending it like alock said maybe would save some headaches n complaints...other wise nice work!

I think the reason that you're seeing few mid majors on there is because it is harder for them to have a lower rpi. Maybe rpi should be dropped to 30 or 25 percent? I think we would see a few more none bcs schools on there.

another reason is bc its tougher for mid-majors to have guys drafted...I'm not promoting my team but in 10 years or so there we have had some pretty steady consistent teams that have made the national tourney and what not but I have had one person drafted...If you watch the guys drafted its usually those big 6 schools and teams that make DEEP runs in the NT

U right..PanaPanthers an watch-this! I have 10-12 season at APSU and I try to schedule a very competitive non conference schedule to bring my RPI up B4 Conference play! Funny thing most big schools will not give me a home and home game (Big Ten schools have been very good on given me Home and Home)I think they are afriad to lose to the PEAY at the Dunn Center.... 7 road games this season next season looking about the same! When I offer the home game they never seem to respond to my request or the next season they offer another home game for themselves... lol! LETS GO PEAY! we take on all Big School who want some? They all come and they fall! LETS GO PEAY!

Draft picks are 5% of the total.  Claiming mid-majors aren't making the list because of draft picks is bogus.  Mid-majors aren't making the list as often, because it requires sustained excellence over a long period of time.  Most of the mid majors that are successful do so for a few years, then the coach jumps, and they fall back to reality.
