One opening in D1's most unusual power conference Topic

The MEAC in Division 1 Tarkanian has one opening – Maryland Eastern Shore.

This is an EXTREMELY FUN Conference which is full of good coaches.

We have finished above several Big 6 conferences in RPI for several years – last year we finished above the Big East and SEC. We sent four teams to the NT last year, and three to the PI.

We are trying to build the conference into THE dominant D1 conference in the Tark world, and each year we are making more and more progress towards that goal.

It is a great group of coaches that get along well and there is good natured banter on the boards as well, with no drama. There are a number of very talented coaches, with a combined 31 national championships along with almost 49,000 wins between the 11 coaches that remain.

Delaware State won the National Championship 5 seasons ago, and should be one of the favorites for the upcoming season.

We have an ongoing topic in the Tarkanian Forums, which analyzes the conference each year, and where coaches post about their teams, and predictions are made. It adds interest to an already fun conference. Here is a link to last season’s: https://www.whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?topicID=520549

Maryland Eastern Shore has had a human coach, bobby2c for the last 7 seasons. The team reached the NT once and the PI three times in that period. It is a solid team to take over and be competitive with pretty much right away. The team finished 17-11 last year, and has a C+ prestige.
