#40 PF, #160 overall, ****; no promises. Alan Foster was another local. I pretty much like everything about him except for his FT shooting, which is an issue with big men. His defense is mediocre but he'll make up for it in the long run with speed and athleticism. He'll develop pretty well. I wouldn't be shocked if he winds up being an NBA player.

International so unranked, *****; no promises. Garf Zimmerman would really benefit from an extra year with the team. He's got great FT shooting, defense, and work ethic. With enough time, everything else will develop very well. I think I may start off trying to redshirt him, because of this year's recruits, he'd derive the most benefit from that. With the extra year, I think he'll be an NBA player. Without it, probably not.

I didn't pursue anyone else. Maybe I should've. I didn't get any fights beyond the second cycle. That's an A+ prestige for you, I think. Also, I aimed for guys who were good but not great. In the future, I may go for great. In the meantime, I've got loads of money over and I'll carry that into next year - the equivalent of one extra open scholarship.

I'm trying to redshirt Garf Zimmerman. If he doesn't take it, I'll try the guards. If neither of them takes it, I'll try Alan Foster. I figure that Benton can fill in as a backup SG next year and then take over the PG slot.

We were down by 15 at the half, in the house of another team that's receiving votes in the polls. We pulled it back to a tight game, showing some real fight, but couldn't overcome our first-half stumble in the end.

Well, it's just an exhibition. Not a bad loss, with that in mind. Our offense was pretty bad, though, and I may have to make some adjustments when I get more data.

Yeah, so this year looks like it's basically shot. We are really missing our four NBA players. That's not a surprise. The extent to which we're missing them is distressing, though. I was hoping that we'd contend for some postseason play, but it looks like we're going to be a bottom dweller this season.
